Privacy Policy

Altianly is a fitness and nutrition app. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes. The short version: your data stays on your device unless you create an account, and we never sell it or use it for advertising.

Data stored on your device

By default, everything you enter is stored locally on your device only:

• Body metrics (age, gender, height, weight) and BMI history
• Workout plans, workout logs, habits, and badges
• Meals and nutrition entries
• App preferences (theme, settings)

You can use the entire app as a guest without creating an account. Deleting the app removes this data.

Data stored on our server (optional account)

If you choose to create an account, we store on our server (Cloudflare):

• Your name and email address
• A salted, cryptographically hashed version of your password (never the password itself)
• Synced fitness data you save while logged in

You can delete your account and all associated server data at any time from the Profile screen in the app ("Delete Account").

Third-party services

• USDA FoodData Central — food names you search for are sent to the USDA database to retrieve nutrition facts.
• Open Food Facts — barcodes you scan are looked up in this public product database.
• AI providers — when you generate a workout plan or parse a meal description, the text of your request (which may include your age, BMI, and fitness goals) is processed by the AI provider you have configured (Cloudflare Workers AI by default). It is used only to generate your response.

Camera

The camera is used only for scanning food barcodes, with your permission. Images are processed on your device and are never stored or uploaded.

What we don't do

• No advertising, ad tracking, or analytics SDKs
• No selling or sharing of personal data
• No background location tracking
